The SAFETY LOOP fault light indicates that the emergency brakes are applied. This situation triggers a critical safety response feature within traction systems, which is designed to ensure that the train can come to a stop safely in the event of a fault or emergency. The activation of emergency brakes serves as a protective measure for both passengers and equipment, preventing potential accidents or derailments that could occur due to system malfunctions.

It’s crucial for operators and maintenance personnel to take note of this indicator as it signifies an urgent need for investigation into the operating status of the train and its various systems. Understanding the significance of this fault light helps ensure that appropriate actions are taken to maintain safety protocols and operational integrity within the traction systems.
